# Job Description – Procurement Manager (FMCG Retail)
Position: Procurement ManagerLocation: NoidaExperience Required: 5–10 years in procurement/vendor management (preferably in FMCG Retail)Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing, vendor management, and supply chain efficiency for our FMCG retail operations in Noida. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and expertise in sourcing high-quality products at competitive prices while ensuring timely availability across outlets.Key Responsibilities-* Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for FMCG retail operations.* Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.* Ensure timely procurement of stock to maintain optimum inventory levels across stores/warehouses.* Establish and maintain long-term vendor relationships, focusing on reliability and cost-effectiveness.* Track purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance against agreed SLAs.* Collaborate with finance, operations, and merchandising teams to align procurement with business needs.* Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product availability in FMCG retail.* Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.* Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and ethical procurement practices.* Prepare regular procurement reports for management review.Qualifications & Skills Required-* Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.* 5–10 years’ experience in procurement/supply chain management, with at least 3 years in FMCG Retail.* Strong knowledge of FMCG products, supply chain dynamics, and retail operations.* Excellent vendor negotiation, contract management, and relationship management skills.* Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.* Strong communication and leadership skills.
