Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

• This position will focus on IT Category for North America (USA and Canada) and additional lines of business as required

• Responsible for developing and executing strategies for the acquisition of technology good and services, including consulting, telephony, hardware, software, SaaS, print and document management
• Lead efforts to improve IT purchasing and invoice processes to drive cost savings while managing internal stakeholder engagement over multiple business operating companies.
• Coordinate with IT leaders during the annual budget process and ensure spending patterns are in alignment with organizational goals.
• acts as a procurement business partner to their stakeholders and leverages industry expertise to co-create their business strategies; translates those business strategies into category sourcing strategies
• developing and executing strategies for the acquisition of goods and services across multiple spend categories
• develops and tracks KPIs for the strategy implementation (e.g. contract coverage, spend under procurement control, supplier risk/performance) and identifies corrective actions when applicable
• contributes to 3rd party risk management planning, monitoring and mitigation
• manages relationships with key suppliers, including collaborative development of joint business plans that drive value for Randstads stakeholders
• leads cross-functional teams delivering multiple sourcing projects across categories; guides and mentors others in the development of their sourcing strategies
• creates and deploys innovative sourcing strategies to increase procurement coverage and procurement's contribution to the business; secures their stakeholder's buy-in on those strategies
• prepares and executes negotiation plans & strategies in consultation with appropriate stakeholders
• collaborate with internal parties (legal, IT/security, risk) and suppliers to draft and redline contracts
• ensures realization of procurement value creation targets for cost savings & avoidance for applicable categories
