Job Description

Job Summary: Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring timely delivery. This role involves strategic planning, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks. Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and vendors. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards in procurement processes. Supplier Management Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct performance reviews and maintain a database of qualified suppliers. Resolve disputes and ensure effective communication between suppliers and stakeholders. Operational Efficiency Oversee procurement operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Streamline procurement processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and align procurement activities. Budget and Cost Management Monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints. Negotiate contracts to achieve optimal pricing and terms. Implement cost-control measures to improve profitability. Qualification and Skills: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Prior experience with OEM or Tier 1 Supplier for Four-Wheeler Electric Vehicles and Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure within Automotive Industry Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CIPS, CSCP) is a plus. 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data. Advanced knowledge of contract management and negotiation techniques. Soft Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership qualities to manage cross-functional teams. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on achieving results. Show more Show less
