Procurement Manager (Civil & PEB Projects)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement for all civil, PEB, and infrastructure project materials.
• Coordinate with estimation, project, and plant teams to plan material requirements as per project schedules.
• Identify and onboard vendors across regions (steel, cement, epoxy, anchor bolts, fasteners, PEB accessories, MEP, etc.).
• Float enquiries, compare quotations technically and commercially, and negotiate terms.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely material dispatch to factory or site.
• Maintain and track PR–PO–GRN–Invoice cycle in sync with accounts and stores.
• Build and update a centralized vendor database with delivery timelines and past performance.
• Coordinate freight, logistics, and transport dispatch tracking with dispatch/store teams.
• Support audit trails and documentation for all purchases, and ensure cost control.
• Develop and maintain procurement MIS (Management Information System) to track:
• Vendor-wise purchase history
• Project-wise material procurement summary
• Cost vs budget variance
• Site-wise dispatch schedules
• Generate weekly and monthly dashboards for leadership review.
• Collaborate with Accounts and Project teams to ensure procurement data is reflected accurately in cost control reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Maintain central digital logs for all procurement activities and vendor communications.

Requirements

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, B.Com, or relevant field. Supply chain certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 5–8 years experience in construction or industrial project procurement (civil, PEB, infra).
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and documentation skills.
• Hands-on with Google Sheets, Excel, and procurement formats (PR, PO, GRN).
• Understanding of technical materials used in EPC, especially steel, fasteners, roofing materials, etc.
• Knowledge of compliance, invoice matching, and material reconciliation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a practical, deadline-driven procurement professional with proven experience managing vendors, tracking multi-site material flow, and optimizing cost without compromising quality.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a construction or EPC company where civil and PEB materials were sourced and delivered in a time-critical environment.

You should be capable of building vendor relationships pan-India, issuing technical purchase orders, and ensuring smooth material coordination between the plant and project sites. Experience in structured PR–PO–Invoice tracking, cost-saving strategies, and documentation control is essential. Candidates who can build procurement SOPs and reduce material pilferage or delay risks will be highly preferred.

The ideal candidate must not only be strong in procurement operations but also data-driven and MIS-oriented. You should be comfortable maintaining real-time trackers for PRs, POs, delivery status, and reconciliation reports.

You will be expected to create and maintain Excel/Google Sheet-based dashboards that summarize:

• Material status by project
• Monthly purchase spends
• Vendor performance ratings
• Cost overruns and PO vs invoice mismatch

A candidate with prior experience in procurement analytics, material reconciliation, and dashboard reporting in a construction or EPC setup will have a clear edge.

Pay: ₹42,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
