Procurement Manager - Construction

You are an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager responsible for overseeing the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services for ongoing and upcoming projects. Your primary goal is to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing while upholding quality standards and fostering strong vendor relationships. Your key responsibilities include developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, sourcing and negotiating with vendors for high-quality materials at competitive prices, evaluating supplier performance, and maintaining positive supplier relationships. You will also be responsible for processing purchase orders and requisitions, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of materials to construction sites, maintaining accurate purchase records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. You should have at least 5 years of proven work experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role within a construction company. Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and vendor management, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines are essential requirements.
