Key Responsibilities: Procurement Planning: Develop and execute procurement strategies based on project needs. Plan and manage procurement budgets effectively. Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with vendors. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for reliable deliveries. Material Management: Ensure timely procurement of construction materials and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with site teams for replenishment. Verify material specifications and quality compliance. Cost Management: Negotiate competitive pricing to optimize costs. Monitor procurement expenses to ensure adherence to budgets. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Coordination with Project Teams: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements. Address procurement issues that may impact project timelines. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers. Stay updated on price fluctuations and industry developments.
