Job Summary

Procurement/Buying Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management & Negotiation

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers and manufacturers (local & national).
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve best value and quality.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain.

2. Buying & Product Development

• Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to source new collections aligned with seasonal trends and brand identity.
• Stay updated with fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes across global and domestic markets.
• Coordinate with design/production teams for sample approvals, quality standards, and production timelines.

3. Procurement & Cost Management

• Monitor market trends to forecast demand and manage optimal inventory levels.
• Control budgets, analyze cost structures, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Track procurement KPIs such as lead times, cost savings, and supplier performance.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all products meet brand quality, sustainability, and compliance standards.
• Conduct supplier audits and maintain documentation related to ethical sourcing and certifications.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and logistics teams for timely product launches and replenishments.
• Provide insights on consumer preferences, competitor activities, and fashion movements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement/buying for apparel or fashion brands.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience sourcing from multiple geographies (India, Bangladesh, China, etc.).
• Excellent understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Passion for fashion and awareness of leading global brands & market trends.

Salary Up to Rs.40K+Food.
