Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, fashion-forward Procurement/Buying Executive to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of apparel and fashion products. The ideal candidate will possess strong vendor management capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, and a sharp understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and global markets. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities1. Vendor Management & Negotiation

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers and manufacturers (local and national).
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure optimum value and quality.
• Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key vendors to ensure supply chain reliability.

2. Buying & Product Development

• Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to source new collections aligned with brand identity and seasonal trends.
• Stay updated on global and domestic fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes.
• Coordinate with design and production for sample approvals, quality checks, and production timelines.

3. Procurement & Cost Management

• Monitor market trends to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze cost structures and ensure cost efficiency without compromising product quality.
• Track and report procurement KPIs such as lead times, cost savings, and supplier performance.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all sourced products meet brand quality standards, compliance norms, and sustainability guidelines.
• Conduct supplier audits and maintain documentation related to ethical sourcing and certifications.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and logistics teams for timely product launches and replenishment cycles.
• Provide insights on consumer behavior, competitor activities, and fashion movements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement or buying for apparel/fashion brands.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and source from multiple markets (India, Bangladesh, China, etc.).
• Excellent understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Passion for fashion and awareness of leading global fashion brands and trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
