Position Summary
The Finance organization at EA is reimagining how process excellence enables transformation across Finance. As part of this journey, the Finance Transformation team is building a capability that combines process design, technology adoption, and continuous improvement to simplify how Finance operates and create capacity for innovation.We are seeking a
Process Engineer
to support the mapping, analysis, and redesign of Finance processes as part of EA’s enterprise-wide transformation. This role will collaborate closely with the Finance Transformation Program Lead and cross-functional partners to document end-to-end processes, identify pain points, and support the development of optimized, scalable workflows.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about process improvement, eager to learn re-engineering techniques, and interested in how data, automation, and technology can transform Finance operations.
Responsibilities & Outcomes
Process Documentation & Analysis
- Partner with process owners and subject matter experts to document current-state Finance processes using standardized templates and tools.
- Support workshops and interviews to capture process steps, data handoffs, and system touchpoints.
- Analyze processes for inefficiencies, manual work, and improvement opportunities under guidance from senior facilitators.
- Maintain a repository of process maps, documentation, and version control across transformation initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Design
- Assist in identifying quick wins and improvement opportunities based on process data, feedback, and observations.
- Support re-engineering initiatives to simplify and streamline Finance operations.
- Contribute to the development of future-state process recommendations, visualizations, and supporting materials.
- Help document dependencies between Finance, IT, and business partners to support integrated solution design.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with the broader Finance Transformation team to align process documentation with technology and data workstreams.
- Collaborate with Finance teams globally to ensure process documentation reflects real-world practices and is easy to adopt.
- Support communication materials and presentations that help share progress and learnings across Finance.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in process improvement, operations, finance, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of process documentation and analysis methods (e.g., swimlane diagrams, SIPOC, RACI).
- Experience using process mapping tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Miro, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple inputs across stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or process re-engineering.
- Experience supporting transformation or technology-enabled change initiatives.
- Familiarity with automation, AI, or digital finance concepts.
- Strong interest in operational excellence and continuous learning.

- Positive feedback from process owners and partners on collaboration and clarity.
- Contributions to process improvement recommendations that inform roadmap initiatives.
