Position Overview The School Principal is responsible for providing visionary leadership to the school, ensuring the effective implementation of educational programs, fostering a positive school culture, and managing day-to-day operations. This role involves strategic planning, staff development, curriculum oversight, and active engagement with students, parents, and the community. Key Responsibilities 1. Educational Leadership Develop and implement the school's vision, mission, and strategic goals. Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with educational standards. Promote innovative teaching practices and the integration of technology in the classroom. Monitor and assess student performance to drive continuous improvement. 2. Staff Management and Development Recruit, hire, and retain qualified teaching and administrative staff. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. 3. Student Welfare and Discipline Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Implement and enforce school policies related to student behaviour and discipline. Address student concerns and resolve conflicts effectively. Promote student engagement through extracurricular activities and support services. 4. Administrative and Operational Oversight Manage the school's budget and allocate resources efficiently. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee the maintenance and safety of school facilities. Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and logistical operations. 5. Community and Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary liaison between the school and the community. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and community organisations. Represent the school at public events, meetings, and conferences. Foster partnerships to enhance educational opportunities and resources. 🎓 Qualifications and Skills Educational Requirements Master’s degree in Education Administration, Leadership, or a related field. B.Ed. Degree is compulsory. PHD preference. Experience Minimum of 12 years of experience in an educational setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role handling K-12 Segment. Proven track record of effective school management and educational leadership. Skills Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in educational technology and management software. Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
