Presales Manager

Position Overview:

Pre-Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

• Interact with mid-to-large enterprise clients to gather and analyze their technical requirements related to data center infrastructure, cloud services, and managed IT solutions.

Solution Design & Architecture:

• Design and propose tailored technical solutions using CtrlS’s suite of offerings, including colocation, private cloud, disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), and managed hosting. Create comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Bill of Materials (BoMs), and migration plans.

Technical Presentations & Demos:

• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs to IT teams and senior decision-makers, addressing client queries and highlighting the business value of CtrlS's infrastructure capabilities.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

• Work closely with the delivery, network, and security teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with CtrlS’s service standards. Collaborate to validate solution viability and ensure seamless client onboarding.

Pricing & Solution Cost Modeling:

• Support the sales team in pricing discussions and ensure that proposed solutions are commercially competitive and profitable, aligning with internal cost structures and client budgets.

Proof of Concept (PoC) Execution:

• Lead or support PoC initiatives to validate the performance and capabilities of proposed solutions. Assist clients in evaluating CtrlS’s data center and cloud offerings through practical demonstrations.

Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing:

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and offerings from CtrlS Data Centers, ensuring that solutions are aligned with the latest industry trends and best practices. Provide internal teams with technical training and support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of

  IT infrastructure

  : servers, storage, networking, firewalls, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), etc.
• Deep knowledge of

  Managed Services offerings

  : SLA-driven support models, ITIL processes, service desk/NOC/SOC operations.
• 10+ years of experience in

  Pre-Sales Manager

  ,

  Solutions Architecture

  , or a similar role, with a focus on data center and cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of

  data center technologies

  ,

  cloud services

  ,

  managed IT services

  , and

  disaster recovery solutions

  .
• Experience with

  VMware

  ,

  Hyper-V

  ,

  cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

  , and related technologies.
• Collaborate with OEMs (Dell, Cisco, HPE, NetApp, Nutanix, APC, etc.) for solution development and special pricing.
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation and solution proposals.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

• Certifications such as

  VMware VCP

• Understanding of
