Qualification: Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant fields

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in placement or corporate relations within an academic institution preferably in a business school/ Management Dept.

Candidate Profile:

The candidate should have

· Master’s/ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.

· Experience in human resources, recruitment or career services.

· Exemplary communication skills (both oral and written) to connect with a diverse range of students and employers.

· The ability to multitask and manage complex projects effectively.

· Experience in event management and coordinating recruitment events for companies.

· Experience with virtual and in-person recruiting strategies and career service trends.

· Ability to identify and establish relationships with local, national and international companies across various industries.

· Develop and maintain relationships with companies to facilitate job placements for students.

· Conduct workshops and training sessions to prepare students for interviews and job applications.

· Coordinate placement drives and job fairs on campus.

· Provide career counseling and guidance to students.

· Design and implement effective placement strategies to achieve high placement ratios.

· Build strong industry connections with HR leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers.

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

· Familiarity with industry trends, recruitment processes, and student career guidance.

Role description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Placement Manager located in Bengaluru at Yenepoya School of Business. The Placement Manager will be responsible for connecting students with potential employers and creating and maintaining relationships with companies. They will also help students with interview preparation and resume building, and will assist in organizing career fairs and networking events.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement training programs to enhance students' employability skills, including communication, leadership, and industry-specific competencies.

· Collaborate with faculty to integrate practical skills development into the academic curriculum.

· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, industry leaders, and recruiters to understand their hiring needs and expectations.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, job market dynamics, and evolving skill requirements.

· Provide personalized career guidance and counseling to MBA students, assisting them in identifying strengths, career goals, and suitable industries.

· Conduct workshops and training sessions focused on resume building, interview preparation, and networking.

· Work closely with faculty and administration to develop a robust placement strategy aligned with the business school's goals and the evolving needs of the job market.

· Innovate and implement strategies to ensure successful placements with a minimum package of 4 lakh.

· Oversee and facilitate the placement of MBA students in internships, ensuring alignment with their academic studies and career aspirations.

· Maintain strong relationships with organizations offering internship opportunities.

· Organize and coordinate placement events, job fairs, and industry networking sessions to connect students with potential employers.

· Proactively engage with alumni to create opportunities for current students and strengthen the business school's network.

· Implement a comprehensive system for tracking placement statistics, focusing on securing placements with a minimum package of 4 lakh.

· Collaborate with the Program Director to plan and execute impactful Management Development Programs (MDPs).

· Organize industry connect events, workshops, and conferences, ensuring seamless logistics and participant engagement.

· Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, facilitating their participation in programs.

· Generate regular reports for the management team and stakeholders.

· Feedback Collection and Continuous Improvement:

· Collect feedback from recruiters and placed students to assess the effectiveness of the placement process.

· Utilize feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall placement outcomes.
