Job Description

Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance and Support:
    • Provide expert functional and technical support for PeopleSoft HRMS modules, including Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee/Manager Self-Service, and Talent Acquisition Manager.
    • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues and user-reported incidents in a timely manner.
    • Perform regular system administration tasks, including applying patches, bundles, and updates.
  • Development and Enhancement:
    • Design, develop, and test new functionality, custom components, and reports using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, and XML Publisher).
    • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, create functional and technical design documents, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
    • Develop and maintain interfaces for data conversions and integrations with other systems and third-party applications.
  • Reporting and Data Management:
    • Create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc queries and reports using PeopleSoft Query and BI Publisher.
    • Ensure data integrity and consistency by performing data validation and reconciliation.
    • Assist with data migration and data conversion efforts during upgrades or new module implementations.
  • Collaboration and Documentation:
    • Work within a disciplined SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) environment, including creating and maintaining project artifacts such as technical designs, unit test scripts, and test plans.
    • Collaborate effectively with functional teams, technical teams, DBAs, and business owners.
    • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the PeopleSoft system.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in a PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM environment.
  • Strong technical skills in PeopleTools , including proficiency in:
    • PeopleCode
    • Application Designer
    • Application Engine
    • SQR, PS Query, and BI Publisher
    • Component Interface & Integration Broker
  • Expertise in writing and optimizing complexSQL queries(preferably with Oracle or SQL Server).
  • Experience with the full application development lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and Fluid UI.
  • Familiarity with other modules like Time & Labor, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Absence Management.
  • Experience with a version control system (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (e.g., Shell, Python).
  • Experience with system performance tuning and optimization.
