Job Description: PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Finance and Supply Chain Management modules. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, support, and enhancements, with deep knowledge in General Ledger, Asset Management, Treasury, and Supply Chain modules. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver robust and scalable financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as SME for PeopleSoft FSCM modules including General Ledger (GL), Asset Management (AM), Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), and Supply Chain.

• Perform requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional design to align business processes with PeopleSoft capabilities.

• Lead functional testing activities (unit, integration, regression, UAT) and prepare detailed test cases and documentation.

• Support system implementations, upgrades (8.9 to 9.2), and PUM projects, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.

• Configure ChartField setups, Tree Manager, multi-currency processing, allocations, and consolidations.

• Provide production support for critical business cycles such as month-end and year-end close.

• Coordinate with technical teams to design, review, and implement interfaces, reports (SQR, nVision, XML Publisher), and customizations.

• Serve as SPOC for audits (SOX, internal), ensuring compliance and timely resolution of audit requests.

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to drive system improvements, automations, and process efficiencies.

• Mentor junior consultants and lead small teams in delivering functional and technical deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in PeopleSoft FSCM functional consulting.

• Strong functional expertise in General Ledger, Asset Management, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Management.

• Proficient in PeopleSoft Security, Tree Manager, ChartField setups, and Consolidations.

• Hands-on experience in PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, File Layouts, Data Mover).

• Strong experience in PS Query, SQR, nVision, XML Publisher reporting.

• Proven ability in fit-gap analysis, writing functional specifications, and preparing test plans.

• Excellent knowledge of multi-currency processing, allocations, and financial consolidations.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Exposure to Control-M, Tidal, and other scheduling tools for job monitoring.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Legg Mason integration with Franklin Templeton systems (or similar large-scale integrations).

• Prior experience in leading DR exercises, audit support, and regulatory compliance projects.

• Knowledge of Treasury, AP, and GL customizations in global financial institutions.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
