. You will be a key operational support function, ensuring the smooth processing and management of essential HR and payroll activities for the APAC - Australia, India, Singapore, South Korea and Japan region.You will help align operational activities with the broader People team and agency objectives, driving efficiency and accuracy across various employee lifecycle processes.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Handle people operations for APAC - Australia, India, Singapore, South Korea and Japan
- Responsible for all pre-joining documentation, payroll and systems onboarding and offboarding
- Ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience at all touchpoints
- Manage administration for all elements of the employee life cycle, including preparing and collecting documents for new joiners, verifying documents, issuing contracts, leaver communication, and employment changes
- Assist with the administration for onboarding freelancers/temporary workers, ensuring appropriate checks are completed as per local legislation
- Responsible for checking and overseeing all data in the HRIS platform and managing administrative tasks and changes for the team, resolving queries and ensuring all people changes are reflected accurately in the system and on the payroll
- Work closely with payroll to support accurate payment-related documentation is provided
- Act as the first point of contact for People Operations queries and requests, providing timely and effective support to Regional Partners, APAC payroll manager, employees and Line managers
- Provide staff reports, work with the HRIMS software to respond to people partner requests for employee data
- Ensure legal compliance for work permits, visas, and Right to Work checks, collaborating with regional partners on regulatory standards
- Continually review and refine processes for consistency and efficiency & evaluate their effectiveness
- Complete the monthly payroll input, verifying all data is accurate and submitted before the deadline
- Manage employee benefits administration, such as medical insurance, life insurance & pension fund schemes where applicable
- Offer support on special People Operations projects at the global and regional levels as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations in a UK organisation or supporting the UK region, HRIS administration, or HR shared services roles, with increasing levels of responsibility
- You have experience and understanding in UK Payroll Inputs & System Management, Benefit Administration
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow or a similar platform, including employee data management, benefits administration, payroll input processing, and reporting is a plus.
- Familiarity using Sage (e.g., Sage HRMS or Sage Intacct) for data reporting, accounting interface, or benefits reconciliation preferred
- Experience in generating reports, conducting audits, and performing data analysis using tools within ADP and Sage, as well as Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
- Experience managing or supporting HRIS integrations with third-party systems (e.g., ATS, payroll, finance platforms) is a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You will collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across People, Payroll, Finance, and Legal functions
