Job Title: Principal Analyst - People Business Partner (PBP)

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Senior Manager - PBP


PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

A People Business Partner plays a critical role in partnering with business leaders to drive the end-to-end people agenda, enhance organizational capability, execute HR strategies for employee growth and development, and deliver an exceptional employee experience that establishes the company as a great place to work.


KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Own the People Agenda for their scope in GCC India.
  • Collaborate with senior management to design and deploy talent development strategies through targeted interventions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Position ABI as a key employer upholding the values of meritocracy, diversity & inclusion.
  • Use internal channels to effectively communicate policies, benefits, etc. that aid in employee growth and retention.
  • Partner with line managers to provide day-to-day HR guidance and consultative support on people matters, enabling effective people management and decision-making.
  • Resolve complex employee-related issues in partnership with line managers and business leads.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement and increase productivity and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing comprehensive HR policy guidance to leaders and employees, ensuring alignment with organizational values and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • An MBA with 2-6 years of experience preferably in HRBP/PBP roles.


Mandatory Skills

  1. HR Business Partnering & Consultation

    - Ability to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic HR guidance and solutions to complex people challenges.
  2. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution

    - Strong capability in handling employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and resolving workplace disputes while maintaining compliance.
  3. Talent Development & Performance Management

    - Expertise in designing and implementing talent development interventions, performance management processes, and capability-building initiatives.
  4. HR Policy & Compliance Knowledge

    - Comprehensive understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant people practices.
  5. Stakeholder Management & Communication

    - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with all levels of management and influence decision-making.
  6. Data Analytics & HR Metrics

    - Ability to leverage people analytics and HR data to drive insights and make data-informed recommendations.

    - Strong project management capabilities to lead cross-functional HR initiatives and deliver results within timelines.

    - Skills in coaching managers and employees to enhance leadership capabilities and support career development.
