Communication: Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise effectively with the CA, vendors, and internal teams. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Book - keeping and Accounting: Maintain day-to-day financial records for both businesses, including income, expenses, payroll, and assets. Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting software (Zoho). Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and client invoicing. Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management. GST Compliance: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with the accounting records. Handle input tax credit (ITC) calculations and adjustments. Income Tax and TDS: Calculate and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q) and ensure timely payment of TDS. Assist in the preparation of annual income tax returns. Ensure compliance with TDS provisions on payments to vendors, freelancers, and employees. Payroll and Employee Management: Process employee salaries, deductions, and benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, etc.). Manage payroll taxes, TDS, and other statutory deductions. Issue Form 16 to employees and handle any related compliance work. Coordination with Chartered Accountant (CA): Provide necessary financial data and documentation (balance sheets, P&L statements, etc.) to the CA for annual audits, filings, and compliance with corporate laws. Ensure all documentation is ready for tax audits, statutory audits, and any government scrutiny. Assist the CA in preparing monthly/quarterly reports for investors, directors, and other stakeholders. Budgeting and Financial Planning: Assist in the creation of budgets Monitor and report on cash flow, variances from budgets, and financial forecasts. Provide inputs for financial planning, cost-saving measures, and resource optimization. Compliance with Corporate Laws: Ensure adherence to ROC filing deadlines (e.g., annual returns, financial statements). Maintain statutory registers as required by the Companies Act, 2013. MIS Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports to provide insights into financial health, profitability, and operational efficiency. Present financial data to the management for decision-making. Vendor and Client Management: Manage vendor contracts, payments, and reconciliations. Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up with clients for payment collection. Other Duties: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, including indirect taxes, labor laws, and corporate laws. Keep up-to-date with changing financial regulations and accounting standards (Ind AS). Handle any ad hoc financial tasks as required by management. Location: We are Bangalore based.
