Job Summary: The Director of Sales, A Ambitious, Thirsty for results and Make every Moment Matter, should lead and manage the Resort sales efforts, focusing on driving revenue growth, building corporate and travel trade relationships, and ensuring a strong market presence. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive sales approach to position the Resort as a preferred choice in the competitive Indian hospitality and Leisure Landscape Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize occupancy and revenue. Drive business across corporate, MICE, travel agent, OTA, and leisure segments. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with market trends. 2. Team Leadership Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team; set performance KPIs and monitor achievements. Conduct regular training to upgrade team skills and product knowledge. Encourage a proactive, result-oriented sales culture. 3. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporates, travel agents, and DMCs. Represent the Resort at trade shows, roadshows, exhibitions, and networking events. Negotiate and finalize contracts for bulk bookings, events, like Wedding corporate engagements etc and long-stay business. 4. Market Analysis & Reporting Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market demand trends. Provide regular performance reports, forecasts, and business intelligence to management. Recommend rate structures and packages to enhance competitive positioning. 5. Revenue Collaboration Work closely with Revenue Management and Reservations to optimize yield. Collaborate with the Marketing team to align campaigns and promotions with sales goals. 6. Brand Representation Uphold brand standards in all customer-facing interactions. Ensure consistency in communication and positioning of the hotels USPs. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). Proven track record in hotel sales, preferably with multiple segment exposure (Corporate, MICE, OTA, etc.). Deep understanding of the Indian hospitality market. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in sales CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy Preferred Attributes: Strong industry network in India. Multi-property experience is an added advantage. Comfortable with travel and flexible working hours.
