Role Description


This is a full-time on-site position for an Operations Manager, based in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of House of Ekam’s e-commerce operations.

The role involves managing the complete order lifecycle, coordinating with fulfilment and warehouse teams, handling client communication, and maintaining product listings across marketplaces such as Nykaa, Myntra, and Amazon.

A proactive and detail-oriented individual, the Operations Manager will also work on streamlining operational workflows, improving efficiency, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.


Order & Fulfilment Management


Oversee the complete order lifecycle — from order placement to dispatch and delivery.

Coordinate with the warehouse and packing teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

Track order status, manage daily dispatch schedules, and address any delays or discrepancies.

Maintain records of dispatched and pending orders and share daily/weekly reports with management.


Client Servicing & Communication


Handle customer and client calls related to order updates, customization requests, or delivery issues.

Provide prompt, clear, and courteous communication to ensure a positive brand experience.

Liaise with courier partners for tracking updates, delivery escalations, and logistics coordination.


Marketplace Listing & Management


Oversee listing and maintenance of House of Ekam’s products on external marketplaces (such as Nykaa, Myntra and Amazon.).

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product information, pricing, and inventory are accurate and updated regularly.

Track marketplace performance, reviews, and order fulfilment to ensure brand consistency across platforms.

Work with the design and content teams to upload high-quality images, product descriptions, and attributes.


Operations Coordination & Process Improvement


Collaborate with the design, production, and marketing teams to align order timelines and priorities.

Implement and improve operational systems to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.

Support inventory management and stock-level reporting.

Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements for smoother operations.


Skills & Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in e-commerce operations, order fulfilment, or client servicing (preferably in a D2C brand).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
