About This Role

As the Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of Fuelled’s supply chain — ensuring every product is manufactured on time, every vendor is aligned, every stock-out is prevented, and every system scales with our growth.

Your job is to make sure Fuelled runs like a well-engineered machine. This means predictable production, tight vendor management, accurate inventory, and zero operational surprises.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Relations & Management

• Maintain strong relationships with all manufacturing vendors, packaging vendors, and raw material suppliers.
• Ensure vendors meet deadlines, quality standards, and agreed turnaround times.
• Conduct regular vendor performance audits.
• Negotiate pricing, timelines, and commercial terms that improve margins & reliability.
• Resolve vendor issues before they become bottlenecks.

2. Supply Chain Ownership

• Own end-to-end supply chain planning — production calendars, NPD timelines, packaging timelines, and replenishment cycles.
• Maintain 2–3 month rolling production plans based on forecasts.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance & Warehouse to ensure smooth launches and refills.
• Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery from all suppliers.
• Identify risks early and create backup plans.

3. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels across finished goods, packaging, raw materials & samples.
• Ensure zero stockouts and zero overstock through smart forecasting.
• Track batch-wise movement, expiry dates, and FIFO compliance.
• Own warehouse coordination and reconciliation.
• Build weekly and monthly inventory reports for leadership.

4. Systems & Process Building

• Build SOPs for production, QC checks, packaging flow, vendor communication, and inventory updates.
• Implement tools and dashboards for supply chain visibility.
• Automate repetitive processes wherever possible.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and fix them permanently.
• Build scalable systems to support 3x–5x growth over the next 2 years.

Who You Are (Ideal Candidate)

• 3–7 years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations (preferably FMCG/CPG/D2C).
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Loves building systems, not just operating them.
• Comfortable owning large responsibilities independently.
• Thrives in fast-moving, ambitious, high-performance environments.
• High sense of ownership — you take problems personally until solved.
