Job Description

The Operations Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth business functioning. This role focuses on process coordination, execution, reporting, and cross-department collaboration to improve efficiency and support business goals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks

2. Process Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, logistics, vendors)
  • Ensure proper handover and execution of projects and tasks
  • Follow up for timely closures and deliveries

3. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
  • Maintain records, trackers, MIS, and process documentation
  • Analyze data to identify areas for operational improvement

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and partners
  • Ensure SLAs, timelines, and quality standards are met
  • Handle vendor onboarding and basic negotiations if required

5. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure operational processes follow company policies
  • Conduct checks to maintain quality and accuracy
  • Assist in audits and compliance-related activities

6. Problem Solving & Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvement solutions
  • Support automation and optimization initiatives
  • Address operational issues proactively

7. Administrative Support

  • Assist management with coordination tasks
  • Manage schedules, approvals, and internal communications
  • Support onboarding of new team members operationally

Required Skills & Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or related field

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
  • Basic understanding of operations, reporting, and workflows
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, administration, or coordination roles
  • Experience in startups, agencies, e-commerce, or corporate operations is a plus
