  1. Stablecoin Payments

    : Help businesses accept and process payments with stablecoins, easily and securely.
  2. Baas Offering:

    Help businesses create bank accounts and digital wallets for their retail customers and help them deepen their customer offering and improve stickiness.
  3. Treasury Management:

    Provide real-time visibility into cash flow and help businesses make smart investment decisions and move the same faster leveraging stablecoins
  4. Cross-Border Payments:

    Allow businesses to send and receive money instantly, even internationally.
  5. On/ Off ramp:

    Convert fiat to crypto and vice versa with real-time settlement, local bank connectivity, optimal pricing through multi-venue aggregation, and easy-to-integrate, fully compliant APIs.

We work with top companies like Binance, DoorDash, and Noon, as well as major financial institutions like JPMorgan. Roma is leading the way in digital asset technology, helping businesses make the transition to more efficient financial systems.


The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Operations Associate to serve as the operational backbone of Roma's day-to-day workflows. This is a hands-on role where you'll be directly in the trenches-managing customer support, monitoring transactions, and ensuring seamless operational execution across our crypto on-ramp and off-ramp solutions. You'll be solving real customer problems, coordinating with banking partners, troubleshooting transaction flows, and being the central point of contact for all operational and customer-related activities. What you'll do:

  1. Customer Support and Experience:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and issues. Respond promptly to customer emails, troubleshoot technical and operational problems, and proactively enhance the overall customer experience across Roma's platform.
  2. Transaction Monitoring and Operations:

    Monitor real-time on-ramp and off-ramp transactions, track payment flows across banking systems, ensure smooth operational execution, and quickly identify and resolve any transaction-related issues or delays.
  3. Business Client Communication:

    Act as the operational liaison for business clients and merchant partners, addressing their queries, coordinating transaction-related requests, and ensuring timely resolution of any operational concerns.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with product, engineering, operations, and compliance teams to escalate critical issues, implement operational improvements, and drive process enhancements that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  5. Data and Reporting Support:

    Handle ad-hoc data extraction requests, prepare operational reports, and provide transaction analytics to support informed decision-making across teams.
  6. Process Optimization:

    Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and process inefficiencies, troubleshoot systemic issues, and work with relevant teams to streamline workflows and improve operational reliability.


Qualification and Skill Set Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in FinTech operations, customer support, or payment operations, preferably in digital payments, or financial services.
  • Execution Mindset: Strong bias toward action and getting things done. You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly and execution matters.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex operational issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers and partners.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel for data analysis. Basic SQL knowledge is a significant plus for querying transaction databases and extracting operational insights.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of fintech business models, digital payments, banking operations.
  • Operational Qualities: Calm under pressure with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.

  • Prior experience or strong interest in cryptocurrency operations, stablecoin transactions, or blockchain-based payment systems.
  • You understand what it takes to work in a high-growth startup—wearing multiple hats, adapting quickly to change, and taking ownership beyond your defined role.
  • Natural empathy for customer pain points with a genuine desire to improve user experience and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex operational problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions quickly.
