Role: Network Lead

Network Lead

Key Responsibilities

Design & Architecture:
Define scalable, secure and resilient network architectures across on-prem and cloud environments
Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day monitoring, incident management, change control and vendor coordination
Project Leadership:
Lead network upgrade/migration initiatives (SD-WAN rollout, firewall refresh, bandwidth expansion, etc.)
Security & Compliance:
Implement network access controls and segmentation in partnership with InfoSec; ensure compliance with ISO/SOC controls
Documentation:
Maintain detailed architecture and configuration documentation for audits and internal use
People Leadership:
Mentor and guide team members; provide direction and support as required

Criteria / Required Experience

10–15 years
of enterprise networking experience, with
3–5 years in a managerial/lead role
Proven experience managing
multi-site network environments
Hands-on expertise with:
Routing/Switching:
Cisco, Aruba, Juniper
Firewalls:
FortiGate, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto
Wireless:
Cisco Meraki / Aruba enterprise Wi-Fi
Monitoring Tools:
SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix
Familiarity with
Cloud Networking
(Azure / AWS — ExpressRoute, VNet, VPN, etc.)
(Preferred)
Scripting or automation experience (Python, Ansible, etc.)
Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
Consulting firm experience is an added advantage
Location:
Coimbatore (willingness to travel to other offices as required)
