Job Description

Minimum 3 yrs. experience similar role

Design and implement network topologies based on business requirements.
Plan LAN/WAN architecture for high availability and scalability.
Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP).
Optimize network performance using QoS (Quality of Service) technique
Configure and maintain routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and RIP.
Optimize route selection and load balancing using route summarization and policy-based routing (PBR).
Hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of Juniper ,Cisco and HPE Aruba network switches, along with deployment and integration of enterprise-grade firewalls.
Implement static and dynamic routing for seamless communication.
Troubleshoot routing issues using traceroute, ping, and debugging tools.
Configure Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HP).
Implement VLANs, trunking (802.1Q), and inter-VLAN routing.
Set up Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, RSTP, MSTP) to prevent loops.
Implement Port Security, DHCP Snooping, and MAC Address Filtering for security.
Configure and maintain MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN (IPSec, GRE, DMVPN).
Optimize WAN performance using compression and caching.
Troubleshoot latency, jitter, and packet loss in WAN environments.
Ensure redundant WAN connectivity for uninterrupted services.
Implement Access Control Lists (ACLs) to filter network traffic.
Configure Network Address Translation (NAT/PAT) for internet connectivity.
Secure routing protocols with authentication mechanisms (MD5, SHA).
Implement AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) using RADIUS or TACACS+.
Monitor network health using SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.
Analyse network performance with Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG.
Implement traffic shaping and load balancing for better efficiency.
Optimize network performance through bandwidth management.
Diagnose and resolve network outages and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot routing and switching failures using debugging tools.
Work with ISPs and vendors to resolve network-related problems.
Develop network troubleshooting playbooks for faster incident response.
Maintain network diagrams, topology maps, and inventory lists.
Document IP address allocation, VLAN configurations, and ACL policies.
Ensure compliance with network security policies
Conduct periodic network audits to ensure best practices.

· Work closely with server technology and security administrators through all phases of projects

· Research and provide recommendation of new technologies and solutions

· Collect and review network and security activity, and participate in network design and troubleshooting

· Intervenes when needed to keep the work on track

· Delegates effectively, rebalances workload and reprioritizes as needed

· Experience of installing Cisco, HPE - ARUBA, Juniper switches and networking equipment’s like Firewall.

· Anticipates the team’s needs, stays fully engaged in the team’s effort, provides feedback but does not micromanage.

· Develop, design and assist assembly and test of new mechanism designs.

· Familiarity with Data Centre environment and hosted deployments/cloud

· Experience of supporting clients remotely and face to face, along with experience of working with

· Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analysers

· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
