Key Responsibilities
Validate front-office valuations and identify discrepancies, valuation breaks, and exceptions.
Drive automation, process improvement, and control enhancements using data analytics tools and scripting.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and governance frameworks.
Mentor junior team members and lead client conversations independently.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Functional Skills
Good understanding of financial instruments, valuations, Greeks, curves, pricing models, and market data.
Strong analytical ability to interpret market movements and pricing variations.
Domain Expertise
Knowledge of Product Control, Valuation Control, Market Risk, or Finance functions in banking.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Ability to manage a team and handle cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong communication, client interaction, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently with global teams in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
