Job Summary

The Product & Inventory Master Data Center of Excellence (CoE) Senior Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of product and inventory master data within the organization. This position is crucial for supporting key business functions, such as supply chain, procurement, and finance, by optimizing data management processes and enabling informed decision-making through high-quality data. The Senior Associate is responsible for implementing data governance policies, conducting thorough data quality audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance master data workflows. Additionally, this role involves generating analytical reports, providing insights into data trends, and serving as a key point of contact for resolving data-related queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product and inventory data by maintaining and updating master records.
  • Analyze and resolve master data issues COTS and custom applications
  • Conduct regular audits and validation checks to uphold data integrity, and develop processes to enhance data quality.
  • Identify and implement best practices to streamline data management workflows, collaborating with various departments.
  • Generate insightful reports and dashboards, analyzing data trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to understand data requirements and resolve any master data-related issues.
  • Create training materials and maintain documentation to support data management processes and standards.
  • Employ data management tools and software to improve data handling processes and participate in system implementation and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of master data management principles.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and data management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Experience in master data management or similar roles is preferred.
