Role Overview

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the overall planning, design review, coordination, execution, and quality control of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should bring a proactive approach to design integration and site execution while ensuring adherence to regulatory norms and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate MEP designs, drawings, and BOQs submitted by consultants.
• Coordinate MEP works across HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, water supply & drainage, BMS, and lift systems.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP components at site as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Interface with architectural, civil, and structural teams to ensure smooth integration of MEP services.
• Conduct technical evaluations of vendor quotations and provide recommendations for procurement.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular MIS reports for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, IS codes, NBC norms, and local municipal requirements.
• Oversee third-party inspections and support audits related to MEP scope.
• Resolve site-based execution issues, discrepancies, or deviations related to MEP works.
• Drive safety and quality practices across MEP activities on site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in MEP execution for mid-to-large scale residential/commercial real estate projects.
• Proven expertise in MEP planning, design coordination, and on-site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and basic understanding of Revit MEP is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical (HT/LT), HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, and DG set installations.
• Familiarity with local authorities and approval procedures in Navi Mumbai.
