Position Overview
Indigo Group is looking for an MBA Finance Intern to assist in key financial operations. This role provides an exciting opportunity for hands-on experience in corporate finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, and data management. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient in financial tools, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Support the preparation of financial statements, including P&L accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial reports to generate actionable insights.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing annual and quarterly budgets, working closely with the finance team.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting future financial performance.
- Investment and Financial Modeling:
- Create models to evaluate investment opportunities and calculate ROI.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis for different business scenarios.
- Data Analytics:
- Collect, process, and analyze financial data to support decision-making.
- Ensure financial data accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Regulatory Compliance and Audits:
- Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance with Indian laws (SEBI, RBI).
- Help with internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Market Research:
- Conduct research on market trends, peer companies, and economic conditions affecting the business.
- Cost Control and Efficiency:
- Assist in cost control analysis, identifying areas where financial efficiencies can be achieved.
- Work with teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborative Projects:
- Support cross-departmental financial initiatives, working with procurement, marketing, and sales.
Qualifications
- Pursuing an MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institute.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; knowledge of Tally ERP and SAP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship experience in finance/accounting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Indian financial regulations (SEBI, RBI) and taxation is a plus.

- Active on social media.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI tools like ChatGPT and design platforms like Canva.
