Designation: CS Intern Company : Indigo Advisory Private Limited The Company Secretary Intern will provide essential support to the Head of Company Secretary in managing corporate governance, legal compliance, and secretarial tasks. This includes organizing board meetings, maintaining statutory records, liaising with external advisors, and assisting with finance-related activities (excluding accounting). Key Responsibilities Legal & Governance Support: Assist the Company Secretary Head with managing meetings and legal compliance. Provide advice on governance, legal, accounting, and tax implications during meetings. Meeting Management Organize, prepare agendas for, and take minutes of board meetings and AGMs. Ensure timely distribution of meeting documents and notices (including shorter notices when required). Prepare attendance sheets and director’s reports. Record Maintenance Maintain statutory books and records, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries. Prepare and maintain secretarial records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Communication & Reporting Handle correspondence, collect relevant information, and prepare reports. Ensure decisions from meetings are communicated to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. External Liaison Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and legal advisors to ensure compliance and support legal and regulatory processes. Finance Department Assistance Assist with finance-related tasks, excluding accounting, as required by the finance department. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. Previous experience in a company secretarial or legal support role is preferred. Knowledge of corporate governance, legal compliance, and regulatory requirements. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company secretarial software. Personal Attributes Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proactive, reliable, and adaptable.
