, Indigo Group has created significant value for its partners and associates over a span of more than two and a half decades.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of an Assisted Living Facility. The candidate will manage the project from conception to handover, ensuring strict adherence to local regulations and standards. You will be responsible for project feasibility, design coordination, budget management, and liaising with authorities, with a particular focus on fluency in Marathi for official communications and documentations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

  • Define objectives in line with the needs of residents, and conduct site feasibility studies.
  • Handle project documentation and approvals from local governing bodies and authorities.

Design and Development

  • Ensure the facility complies with Indian regulations for senior living, safety codes, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers on design finalization.

Financial Management

  • Prepare detailed project budgets and handle cost control measures.
  • Ensure timely payments to contractors and service providers.

Construction Oversight

  • Oversee the construction phases, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Handle on-site issues, safety measures, and compliance with Indian safety regulations.

Government Liaisoning

  • Work closely with local authorities to obtain necessary project clearances and approvals.
  • Fluent in Marathi to manage negotiations and paperwork with Maharashtra government officials.

Post-Completion Support

  • Conduct inspections to ensure all facilities meet Indian quality and safety standards.
  • Facilitate handover to the facility management team for smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Optional: Master’s degree in Real Estate Development or Business Administration.
  • Certifications:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP/PRINCE2) preferred.
  • Healthcare Facilities or Senior Living certifications are an added advantage.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of real estate project management experience, ideally in senior living or healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of local building regulations, government approvals, and real estate norms.
  • Language:
  • Proficiency in Marathi (speaking, writing, and official correspondence) is mandatory.
