Job Description


Fairfest Media, the organizer of TTF, OTM, and BLTM, is a market leader in trade shows and B2B events in India, connecting governments and businesses from over 60 countries.


Marketing & Communications Specialist


In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing marketing and communication initiatives to enhance Municipalika’s visibility, engagement, and brand positioning. This includes creating compelling content, managing digital and offline campaigns, coordinating with media and industry partners, overseeing event communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy for Municipalika across digital, print, and offline platforms.
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns to increase event awareness, attendance, and exhibitor participation.
  • Create marketing calendars, budgets, timelines, and measurable targets.
  • Write and edit content including website updates, emails, newsletters, brochures, blog posts, press releases, social media posts, event highlights, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all platforms.
  • Coordinate with design teams to develop creatives, videos, event collaterals, and marketing materials.
  • Manage Municipalika’s digital presence, including social media channels, paid campaigns, website content, and Google ads (if applicable).
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better reach and engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media partners, journalists, government communications teams, and industry publications.
  • Draft press releases, handle media outreach, and support press coverage during the event.
  • Oversee communication flow before, during, and after the event.
  • Manage on-ground branding, announcements, media interactions, updates, and live content during the event.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, PR, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing or communications (experience in B2B events/trade shows is preferred).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Proficiency across digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of urban development, government stakeholders, or smart cities (preferred but not mandatory).
