Job Description – Manager/Deputy Manager (Corporate Finance – Capex & Project Evaluation)
Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional to manage investment evaluation, project financials, capex monitoring, and compliance. The role involves close collaboration with corporate functions, project teams, and finance teams to ensure effective investment decisions, adherence to policies, and financial control.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Investment Coordination & Approvals
Liaise with CPE, Corporate Finance, and Project teams for investment approvals at P&BC and AFCC.
Support in preparation and submission of approval documents.
Project Financial Evaluation
Conduct financial evaluation of emission projects, including IRR computation, cost-benefit analysis, and budget release.
Perform make vs. buy analysis and handle special approvals as per Capex policy.
Benchmark investments to ensure competitive decision-making.
Capex Management & Monitoring
Oversee project-wise Capex monitoring and long-term Capex cash flow planning.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports on Capex cash flows.
Manage Capex and DRE budgeting, monitoring, and related reporting.
Post-Audit & Costing
Conduct post-audit reviews of business case assumptions, cash flow projections, product costs, and investments.
Handle costing-related activities and price working for capitalization of proto vehicles.
Process Automation & Controls
Drive IT dashboard development, automation of processes, and documentation of internal processes.
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with organizational policies.
Subsidiary & Compliance Monitoring
Monitor foreign subsidiary bills and payments (e.g., MADE, MNATC).
Ensure adherence to DRE policy, statutory compliances, and internal control requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 5–10 years in Corporate Finance, Capex management, or Project Evaluation in a manufacturing/automotive/engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of Capex evaluation, IRR computation, and budgeting processes.
Proficiency in financial modeling, MIS reporting, and investment benchmarking.
Experience in SAP/ERP systems and IT automation tools is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity, process orientation, and compliance mindset.
