The candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks and enhancing the internal control environment within GCFO. This role requires a deep understanding of financial reporting processes, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Strategy
To help GCFO first line teams so they can comply with regulatory requirements prescribed within the UK Corporate Governance Code for internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR).
Business
The successful candidate will be working with colleagues across GCFO, Finance Risk & Governance and business stakeholders across the wider bank to successfully implement controls that help GCFO meet ICOFR requirements.

Work with the second line Finance Risk & Governance team to help ensure all issues and control deficiencies are logged within the bank’s strategic GRC tooling and the impact on ICOFR is risk assessed.
Governance
Support the team lead with providing inputs to the Finance Risk & Governance team for governance papers including information to populate supporting dashboards and metrics on all FRCF Lifecycle activities that impact Group Finance.
