Location: New Delhi Your Role in our Team: We are seeking for a detailed oriented chartered accountant who will be responsible for executing the internal audit related activities as per the defined/ agreed internal audit plan for our EPC business. This role involves planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the organization's risk management, control systems, and governance processes. The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered accountant with prior experience in internal audits of EPC and under construction project sites and a willingness to travel to our projects sites (under construction plants) located across different locations within India, as per requirement. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an internal audit plan for different functional areas for our EPC businesses Conduct detailed audits of various business processes, including financial, operational, and compliance areas. Perform transactional audit for key risk areas Support the external consultants in coordination Periodically visit the different plants, as per the requirement, to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and obtain an action plan from concerned stakeholders, on the issues identified during the visit. Follow up on the status of action plan on the issues identified by consultants as well as by internal team. Lead and manage a team of internal auditors & industrial trainees and providing guidance, training, and mentorship. Conduct comprehensive internal audits of various departments and functions within the organization. Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization's internal controls and risk management processes. Identify and evaluate risks and recommend corrective actions to mitigate them. Identify requirements of policy & procedures and get them developed and then get it implemented. Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize findings, recommendations, and management responses. Follow up on management responses to audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in internal audit. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in a similar industry. Experience into forensics audit would be preferrable Articleship experience into internal audit would be preferable Experience in leading and managing internal audit teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel to project sites when required Knowledge of auditing in SAP is must Team player with a collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute ideas and support other team members Prior experience in the renewable energy sector is desirable but not mandatory Please reach out to us at hr.delhi@sael.co if you want to know more about the role.
