ROLE PURPOSE

A member of the domestic Finance team and plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager to provide essential commercial and finance support to the local management teams and facilitate the achievement of business goals within budgeted resource levels. Provide inputs to enhance local decision making through the proactive provision of financial analysis and interpretation. Will work closely with regional and global teams to manage internal controls, reconciliations, analysis & reporting.

Key Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing month end input pack for Tagetik for Global reporting
  • Compliance of all direct & indirect Taxes (GST), TDS & return filling
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Ensure Overheads are accurately booked.
  • Reviewing monthly overheads provision working.
  • Manage the Accounts payable team and ensure timely payment.
  • Review intercompany reconciliation and foreign remittances as per FEMA/RBI compliances
  • Providing inputs working files for Audits (Statutory & Internal), Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, and other Income tax Compliances & Income Tax Assessments
  • Stakeholder management – Banks, auditors, consultants, business teams, internal regional and global finance teams
  • Ensuring that defined SOP are adhered in all aspects of Finance and compliance

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

  • CA/CPA/CFA/MBA

Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years of experience

Required Skills And Competencies

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Familiar with ERP, databases and interfaces
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good communication skills, Fluent in English
  • Good documentation skills
  • Strong user skills with all Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
