Manager (Finance, Accounts, Taxation & Cost Budgeting)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance and Accounting & Taxation Manager located in Dhar. The Finance, Accounts, Taxation & Cost Budgeting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the manufacturing unit by managing accounting operations, statutory compliances, taxation matters, and effective cost control. The role will also involve budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure profitability and compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1.Accounts & Finance

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per statutory requirements.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, and fund flow to ensure operational efficiency.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and financial institutions for various requirements.

2.Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Excise, Customs, etc.).
• Prepare and file returns, tax audits, and assessments in coordination with consultants.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and implement them effectively within the organization.
• Handle statutory and internal audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

3.Costing & Budgeting

• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Implement cost control measures across departments to optimize manufacturing costs.
• Conduct product costing, margin analysis, and profitability studies.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making regarding pricing, investments, and expansions.

4.Management Reporting & MIS

• Generate accurate and timely MIS reports for management review.
• Support strategic planning and business performance monitoring.
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency and financial discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)/B.Com or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5–18 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts, Taxation, and Costing, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Direct & Indirect Taxation, and Costing methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems (Tally / Zoho or equivalent).
