The Data and Analytics team within USCS is a key function that informs and drives product strategy and customer experience through data driven insights. We are currently hiring for a Manager of Loyalty and MR Analytics within the Data and Analytics team. The Loyalty and MR Analytics team supports the organization’s efforts to drive customer engagement, maintain competitive differentiation and manage expenses through Loyalty earn and burn programs. The Manager of Loyalty and MR Analytics is responsible for leading a team of high performing analysts to support and drive Membership Rewards strategy & marketing, Cashback Rewards monitoring and Resy Marketing. The role will work cross functionally across several groups including Product Management, Marketing, Finance and Analytics. This role represents a unique opportunity to leverage applied quantitative experience to influence business strategy and requires outstanding relationship management skills to partner with multiple stakeholders and drive results.
· Analyze Cardmember MR/ Cashback earn/burn behavior and inform marketing treatments to drive engagement and reduce expenses.
· Use advance analytics to drive MR discount campaign curriculum and budget optimization.
· Optimize suite of MR triggers across GCS and USCS.
· Partner with Finance to create internal and external cost benefit analyses.
· Help set up robust MIS and tracking of program and campaign performance.
· Inform MR partner evaluation framework and redemption option strategy.
· Lead 2 or more high-performing analytics colleagues with a high focus on engagement and development.
· Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving practical problems.
· Demonstrated ability to provide insight and accurate judgment in addressing and resolving business challenges and opportunities.
· Sound knowledge of Machine learning algorithms / statistics / data mining and research methods.
· Good understanding of card economics. Experience in Charge/Loyalty analytics is a plus.
· Strong people leadership skills, including career development, hard skills training, coaching through business partner relationships, etc.
· Ability to liaise with multiple partners across business units and drive alignment on key priorities.
· Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred in following areas: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related quantitative fields.
· 3 plus years professional experience driving performance optimization through the application of advanced analytics and decision sciences.
· Hands-on expertise using statistical analysis and data manipulation software/tools (e.g. SQL, Hive, Python and Big Data analytic techniques).
· Enthusiastic, self-driven individual with proactive approach to learning, identifying emerging industry trends, and generating innovative solutions
· Ability to learn quickly and work independently on complex, unstructured initiatives
