Manager/ Senior Manager – Global Business Process Management (ARL 6)
The global business process management (BPM) team is responsible for identifying, analyzing, designing, and optimizing processes across Aon. BPM or equivalent experience is part of Shared Operations and partners with collaborators across solutions and geographies. Focussed on efficiency and effectiveness, the BPM team’s goal is to transform process delivering improved client and colleague experience whilst lowering cost.

The Senior Manager (ARL 6) role reports to the Process Excellence leader and is responsible for the leading a team of process analysts. They will be responsible for projects managed by their team, ensuring mapping business processes in our BPM tool line with BPMN standards and guidelines. They will work with business collaborators conduct interviews and build understanding of processes which the business will verify. This will create opportunities to identify the areas of improvement and collaboration through adoption of new strategies, technologies, or procedures

Team Management and Leadership: Lead and manage a team of BPM Process Analysts, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management. Ensure training and development of the team necessary for scaling BPM at Aon

Supporting BPM tools: Providing training and guidance to process owners and SMEs on BPM tools and procedures

Driving BPM adoption: Drives and actively manages the successful adoption and sustainment of BPM techniques and tools

Maintaining consistency: Creating and maintaining a framework for shared taxonomy and consistency.

Analyzing information: Collecting data, researching processes, and analyzing information

Process Improvement: Strong ability to identify, analyse, design, and optimize business processes through process transformation and improvement to improve efficiency and drive innovation

Drive Process Excellence: Provides support to align with the governance model, ensuring opportunities are assessed, selected and prioritised with a strategic lens and agnostic of tool.

BS degree in business administration or scientific field or equivalent work experience
-
7+ years of experience in a multinational environment, partnering with clients and collaborators across the US and EMEA is must.

+3 year of project management leadership experience, ideally in global projects

Self-motivated with confidence to work largely unassisted once trained

Possess good communication and presentation skills

Proven expertise in business process mapping and documentation using BPMN 2.0.

Ability to make agile decisions and establish business process and

Ability to drive others to decisions and indirectly lead project and process teams

Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum); Black Belt preferred

Strong Project management skills - PMP (or similar) Certification preferred

Knowledge of financial or professional services

Good interpersonal skills

Experience in ITES/BPM environments and exposure to global, cross-functional collaborator groups.

Participation in process transitions/migrations and process automation/enablement initiatives.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; PMP (or similar) project management certification is an advantage.

Experience supporting BPM governance, taxonomy consistency, and adoption across business units.
