Job Description

Position Overview:
A Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving the growth and success of a company by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and enhancing the company’s market presence. This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct market research to identify potential markets, customer needs, and competitors.
  • Analyze data and trends to support business decisions.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, meetings, and digital outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve business development targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to align efforts and achieve goals.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and business plans to clients or stakeholders.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of strategies and projects.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and progress toward goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years or more) in business development, sales, or a similar role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of new clients acquired.
  • Revenue generated from new and existing clients.

  • Client retention and satisfaction scores.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
