About the Role

The Administrative and HR Manager will play a key role in strengthening Safetipin’s organizational systems and culture. The role involves leading human resource management, office administration, and operational support — including coordination with the finance team — to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is organized, people-oriented, and aligned with Safetipin’s mission of social impact and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Operations

  • Manage office operations, procurement, logistics, and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee contracts, assets, and documentation for compliance.
  • Coordinate travel, infrastructure, and IT-related support.

Finance & Compliance Support

  • Work with the Finance Manager on budgeting, procurement, and audit documentation.
  • Track cash, vendor invoices, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure adherence to donor and financial compliance processes.

Human Resources

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
  • Maintain HR records, payroll inputs, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
  • Support staff development, engagement, and well-being initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and organizational values.

Organizational Development

  • Strengthen internal systems and promote a collaborative work culture.
  • Support initiatives on diversity, inclusion, and learning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in HR, administration, and operations; experience in the development or social impact sector preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accounting and financial documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labour laws, HR compliance, and nonprofit HR dynamics.
  • Experience in vendor management, procurement, and coordination with finance teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; working knowledge of Hindi preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and HR/finance management tools.


Compensation

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, aligned with sector benchmarks.
