Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the automotive manufacturing operations. Your role will include ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing contracts, handling litigation, and providing legal counsel to the management team. The ideal candidate for this position will have expertise in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations within the manufacturing or automotive sector. Your key responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts such as vendor agreements, supply chain contracts, OEM agreements, and intellectual property rights. You will need to ensure that all agreements align with legal and business interests while minimizing risks. Additionally, you will be managing legal documentation and maintaining proper contract records. In terms of litigation and dispute resolution, you will be handling legal disputes, claims, and litigations related to product liability, labor laws, and contractual breaches. You will also collaborate with external legal counsel for court cases and arbitration, representing the company in legal proceedings when necessary. Risk management will be another crucial aspect of your role, as you will need to identify legal risks in business operations and provide mitigation strategies. Conducting legal due diligence for new projects, partnerships, and expansions will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need to advise on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, you will be responsible for protecting company patents, trademarks, and proprietary technology, as well as managing IP filings and disputes related to automotive innovations and designs. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of contract law, labor law, and regulatory compliance, along with experience in automotive industry regulations such as environmental standards, safety regulations, and supplier agreements. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience in handling cross-border legal matters and international trade laws, familiarity with intellectual property laws in the automotive sector, and certifications in corporate governance or compliance. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience post LLB, preferably in the automobile or manufacturing industry. An educational qualification of LL.B. or LL.M is required for this position. The location of the job is Shivne, Pune.,
