About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our legal team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of key legal functions, including contract management, legal research, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. This role will own and manage all legal aspects of commercial tenders and RFPs, working closely with business teams to formulate effective bidding and negotiation strategies. The Legal Associate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that the organization’s operations are legally sound, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. This position provides exposure to diverse legal matters within a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, offering continuous learning and growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist in drafting, reviewing, and redlining commercial contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, vendor/franchise/service agreements, etc.

● Support the preparation of RFP submissions, including eligibility matrices, pre-bid meetings, negotiations, document collation, bank guarantees, response drafting and operating government portals.

● Preparing MoUs, proposals and other documents for government partnerships.

● Conduct legal research on emerging laws, including those related to mobility, gig work, EVs, platform regulation, and Motor Vehicle laws (both Central and State-level).

● Review and assist in maintaining Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, and similar platform documentation.

● Draft internal notes, representations, and letters to public authorities (e.g., Transport Department, Urban Local Bodies, etc.).

● Track and maintain contract compliance obligations and licensing timelines.

● Assist in organizing legal documentation and repository management.

● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Who You Are

● Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution with 1–3 years of experience in corporate or in-house legal roles.

● Prior experience in a technology-driven or startup environment will be an added advantage.

● Strong academic background with a solid understanding of legal concepts.

● Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills

● Keen interest in business development, competitive tenders (RFPs), and market expansion.

● Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

● High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills.

● Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Word and Excel.

● Knowledge of using legal AI tools and other legal tools.
