Job Title: Head – Leasing (Chennai) Industry: Real Estate / Industrial & Logistics Location: Chennai, India ⸻ Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead our warehouse leasing operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industrial and logistics real estate market, strong tenant and broker networks, and the ability to drive leasing transactions from strategy through execution. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Leasing Strategy & Execution: • Develop and implement a strategic warehouse leasing plan for Chennai and surrounding regions. • Achieve occupancy and revenue targets for logistics parks and industrial assets. • Market Intelligence: • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and tenant movement. • Provide insights on rental benchmarks, demand-supply dynamics, and emerging micro-markets. • Business Development: • Build and maintain relationships with key occupiers, logistics firms, 3PLs, e-commerce companies, and manufacturing firms. • Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term lease agreements. • Broker & Channel Partner Management: • Collaborate with property consultants and brokers to enhance deal flow. • Drive broker engagement programs and maintain updated listings with top IPCs and local brokers. • Client Negotiation & Closure: • Lead negotiations on leasing terms, commercials, and legal documentation. • Coordinate with legal and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction closure and client onboarding. • Stakeholder Management: • Work closely with internal teams – legal, marketing, operations, and finance – to drive leasing outcomes. • Provide regular MIS, pipeline reports, and leasing forecasts to senior management. ⸻ Key Skills: • Deep market understanding & client network • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Strong presentation & stakeholder management • Proactive, target-driven, and team-oriented approach Show more Show less
