How will the person support Technology Academy and evolving business needs:
1) Core Operational Support
- Develop, maintain and update technical learning pathways in collaboration with SMEs
- Support the delivery and evaluation of technical training programs and certifications
- Coordinate logistics for instructor-led and virtual learning sessions.
- Respond to learner and stakeholder queries related to technical programs.
- Assist in tracking KPIs, learning analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Leverage data and learner feedback to drive program innovation and continuous improvement.
- Create and moderate internal knowledge-sharing spaces to support continuous learning and cross-team collaboration.
- Support ad hoc operational upskilling needs (e.g., urgent security incident with AWS accounts requiring rapid security training and lessons-learned sessions).
Backlog items requiring expanded capacity:
- GeoAI ESRI training package (workshops, trainings). SDE team asking support.
- Recent AWS security incident, requiring set of security trainings to be planned. Trust team asking support in adhoc manner
- Instructor-led, external training per team and vendor, trainer, team arrangements. Regularly asked by teams.
- Surveying to understand exact needs, in which project the skill will be used, the level of profiency
- Learning pathway creations and assignment, based on exact needs (project/skill set/level/ goal/ tooling discussions and following up for the feedback). Several teams asking support.
- Regular updates on GenAI Learning Pathways aligned with the advancements. Data Operations team asking support.
- Analyze ongoing global programs data and advise for change/improvement. Meet-the-eXpert’s data analysis waiting for support.
- Copilot Knowledge Share space. Waiting for support to find the right platform, build and market it for usage.
- Copilot training for global employee productivity. Free and Licensed versions will need several trainings.
2) Strategic Value-Add Initiatives
- Identify emerging technical skills needs in partnership with engineering and data teams.
- Design and pilot new learning modules or programs aligned with business goals.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with technical vendors and certification providers.
- Provide planning and execution support for internal student hackathons.
- Represent the Technology Academy in external hackathons and collaborations (e.g., AWS, HERE).
- Represent the Technology Academy in the broader Tech Board and related strategic forums.
Backlog items requiring expanded capacity:
- Tech Academy regular representation in Tech Board quarterly updates: Although I have close relationship with and recognition by the Board members, having some free capacity will allow us to step in more.
- AI strategy: We can be involved in this project group, only if we have capacity to support additional requests that will come with being involved.
- Imagine: This is not planned as part of PD 2025 priorities or Tech Academy 2025 planning. As we work at capacity with 2 people, this is putting us in a very tough spot and impacting the existing commitments, deliveries and quality.
- Student Hackathons: Asking our support.
- External Hackathons with AWS and HERE: Asking our support.
- Executive level training in GenAI: Waiting for support.
technical background
- Technical background in either: spatial data engineering/GIS, cloud computing, data engineering or software engineer
- 3+ years of experience at HERE, familiar with different divisions and our mapmaking industry
- Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible learning experiences
- Experience designing or delivering training/ learn & share/ brown bag events (formal or informal)
- Strong project/program management skills across internal teams and external vendors with good communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain rapport with Director+ stakeholders
- Familiarity or interest in AI/ML learning programs
- Interest in supporting leadership enablement and executive-level training
