Job Description

As the Manager of Learning and Development, your role is crucial in enhancing the productivity of the organization's employees. Your primary objective is to assess the developmental needs across the company and implement effective learning initiatives to address these needs. You will be responsible for designing training programs, identifying suitable solutions, and ensuring the overall improvement of employee performance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement learning strategies aligned with the organization's objectives - Conduct needs analysis exercises to customize interventions for stakeholders - Collaborate with business leaders to understand department-specific challenges - Act as the primary contact for training and development inquiries - Create training programs and objectives for the business and programs - Manage budgets and ensure compliance with financial guidelines - Oversee mandatory compliance trainings and engage with procurement teams for vendor management - Supervise the management trainee program for effective onboarding Customer Engagement: - Serve as a key contact for regional learning and development teams - Design feedback mechanisms to gather input and insights - Establish strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external training providers Internal Process Management: - Evaluate and report on the success and ROI of development plans - Monitor budget spend and raise deviations if necessary - Create process notes for learning interventions - Track learning components in the HR Scorecard and propose improvements - Provide data for governance and regulatory requirements Innovation and Learning: - Develop effective training materials using various media - Research and integrate new training modalities - Identify digital solutions for personalized learning experiences - Stay updated on new technologies and optimize the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) - Network with industry peers to adopt best practices Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate degree with an HR specialization or relevant experience in L&D management - 8-10 years of experience in L&D, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role - Certification in Instructional Design; proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and training delivery - Familiarity with any Digital Learning tool is preferred but not mandatory This position offers a challenging opportunity to drive learning and development initiatives, enhance employee performance, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.,
