SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The role holder will lead the Internal Audit function, driving strong controls, risk mitigation, stakeholder collaboration, compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement to foster transparency and trust across the organization.
This position is based in Mumbai and will report to the Finance Director.
Responsibilities: -
  • Internal Controls (JICC): Lead annual JICC self-assessment, identify control gaps, track remediation, and maintain Segregation of Duties Matrix aligned with ERP authorization protocols.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct audits, resolve findings, and ensure timely closure of internal and external audit points in collaboration with Group Internal Audit.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Develop BI dashboards for KPIs, audit status, and control metrics; ensure data integrity across reporting platforms and provide actionable insights.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Jotun policies, trade sanctions, tax regulations, and support risk assessments and MEIA annual reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between Finance, IT, auditors, and Group Internal Audit; provide training on JICC, audit protocols, and digital tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor audit findings, management letters, and drive efficiency through process enhancements and compliance initiatives.

  • Strong experience in finance operations, internal controls, and audit management with knowledge of COSO framework and ERP systems.

  • Governance-oriented mindset with the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure regulatory compliance.
