JD- Tester with Data Analyst Expertise We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester with strong Data Analyst skills to support testing efforts of the Unilever projects. This role involves validating data accuracy, testing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity across systems, with a strong focus on analytical and problem-solving capabilities.________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs. • Perform functional, regression, and data validation testing on ETL processes and BI solutions. • Analyze large datasets to verify transformations, identify anomalies, and ensure data consistency across systems. • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test coverage. • Validate data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to ensure compliance with data quality standards. • Prepare and maintain clear test documentation including defect logs, test results, and issue tracking. • Contribute to root cause analysis and help drive resolution of data quality or integrity issues. • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by assisting users in validating business scenarios and reporting issues. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years focused on data testing or validation. • Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation across relational databases. • Experience with data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus. • Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehouses, and cloud-based data environments (GCP preferred). • Solid understanding of data quality principles, test case design, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate with technical teams.
