DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists management in evaluating all activities associated with delivering technology products so that they meet specific business needs and expectations
- Analyzing requirements from customers and determining best use or solutions of the software
- Interfaces with stakeholders to define and document requirements for custom-developed vendor software products, often in the form of user stories
- Creates documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature description PowerPoint decks, user guides, process flows, and flow charts
- Assists with managing the product backlog, working with management and other appropriate sponsors to prioritize requirements, and clearly define deliverables
- Works with management and stakeholders to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing
- Responds and prioritizes business and project issues and escalates promptly and appropriately
- Provide training on product functionality to customer stakeholders during the product implementation lifecycle
Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- Experience:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent experience
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus
- Requires 7+ years of related experience
- Familiarity with both waterfall and agile product deployment and software development methodologies
- Computer/Technical:
- Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications
- Experience working with Agile development processes and the team collaboration tools Jira or TFS
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics, Salesforce, and other business-related systems and tools is a plus
- Familiarity with SQL (writing simple queries, looking at databases) is a plus
- Other Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and follow up skills
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team are necessary
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with keen ability to deal with detailed, and sometimes ambiguous, information
