About the Role

Lead – Application & Production Support

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day production support operations for all business applications.
  • Monitor application performance, logs, dashboards, and alerts proactively.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for L2/L3 issues and P1 incidents.
  • Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement long-term corrective measures.
  • Manage release activities, deployment checks, and version rollouts.
  • Maintain ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Ensure application uptime and SLA adherence across environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Product, QA, and Infra teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Create SOPs, runbooks, documentation, and support playbooks.
  • Lead and mentor support engineers, define KPIs, and manage team rotations.

Required Skills

  • ITIL, ServiceNow, JIRA
  • Monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, Prometheus)
  • SQL queries, Linux/Unix troubleshooting
  • Strong production support experience
  • Team management and communication
