Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Location: Gurugram, India (Onsite) Type: Full-time | Executive Leadership Role Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) About MSM Unify MSM Unify is a globally recognized international education platform, part of M Square Media (Canada). We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology and product ecosystem through its next phase of innovation, global scale, and operational excellence. Role Summary The CTO will serve as both the Technology and Product Owner across MSM Unify’s suite of digital platforms. This role combines the strategic vision of a CTO with the execution depth of a CPO — responsible for driving platform architecture, digital product innovation, data strategy, security compliance, and cross-functional alignment with business goals. You will lead a global technology team and oversee all digital initiatives including platform engineering, product development, AI/ML integrations, DevOps, cybersecurity, and data governance — ensuring MSM Unify continues to be a market leader in student engagement and global education mobility. Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Leadership Define and execute a forward-looking, scalable technology roadmap aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. Guide architecture design and infrastructure scalability across MSM Unify’s proprietary platforms and portals. Explore and implement emerging technologies (AI, LLMs, automation, multilingual NLP, blockchain) to enhance product capabilities. Product Ownership & Innovation Serve as the Chief Product Owner, managing product lifecycle strategy — from ideation to rollout to optimization. Champion user-centric design, intuitive UX, and feature innovation for all platforms serving students, agents, institutions, and internal stakeholders. Drive product prioritization, release planning, and stakeholder alignment. Data, Security & Compliance Ensure full compliance with global data protection regulations including GDPR and local privacy laws. Establish governance frameworks for platform security, data integrity, uptime, and access management. Champion ethical data usage and AI governance. Team Building & Culture Lead and scale a high-performing technology team across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and data analytics. Promote a culture of innovation, agility, accountability, and outcome-driven execution. Mentor technical leaders and ensure ongoing skills and leadership development across the tech org. What We’re Looking For Qualifications & Experience Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in software engineering, product-led development, and digital transformation. Proven experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or CPO in a high-growth B2B or SaaS environment. Strong hands-on understanding of modern tech stacks: React/Angular (front-end), Node.js/Python (back-end), AWS/GCP (cloud infrastructure). Experience building and scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms and API ecosystems. Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML, automation, and multilingual platform capabilities. Deep knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance frameworks, especially GDPR.
